The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man in a home invasion Tuesday in Rochester Hills.

The incident happened around 12:39 p.m. in the 2800 block of Crooks Road.

According to deputies, a 77-year-old woman was at home when she was confronted by a man wearing all black clothing with a shirt over a sweatshirt.

He bound the victim with tape, blindfolded her, then searched her home. After he left, the woman was able to free herself and ran to a neighbor’s home to report the incident to the sheriff’s department.

He is described as about 25 years old and 5 feet, 4 inches tall.
