Man arraigned for allegedly robbing bank in Troy

Troy — A man accused of robbing a bank location at a Kroger store has been arraigned, according to Troy police.

The incident occurred on Jan. 7 at the Best Bank at the Kroger on the 3100 block of John R.

Robert Perry, 36, of Dryden was identified and arrested with the assistance of the FBI Oakland County Violent Gangs and Crimes Task Force, Madison Heights police, and the Michigan Department of Corrections, police say.

Perry is accused of entering the bank and giving a teller a note demanding money.

He was found the next day, based on “information developed with the Madison Heights Police Department,” and arrested.

Perry was arraigned on Monday on a charge of bank robbery and his bond was set at $250,000 cash, police say.
