Police are looking for a man who robbed an Advance America Cash Advance store Thursday in Waterford.

The man in a colorful coat and large, patterned scarf is seen on video released by the Waterford Police Department entering the store, pointing a black, semi-automatic gun at an employee and demanding money. He then walks behind the counter and later is seen leaping over the counter and leaving the store.

Sgt. William Dolehanty said he left the store at 5570 Dixie Highway with an undetermined amount of money. No one was hurt in the incident.

The man was last seen walking south along Dixie and police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

He is described as 6 feet tall in his mid-20s. He was wearing a black and white flannel shirt, multicolored hat, black pants, shoes and gloves. He also had a dark colored shoulder bag.
