Madison Heights — Police said Wednesday the death of a woman found inside her mobile home is not suspicious, but remains under investigation.

Cynthia Marie McCabe, 56, was found about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday inside her home in the 25000 block of Dequindre, Deputy Chief Tim Pawlowski said.

“An autopsy was inconclusive and cause and manner are pending lab results and toxicology tests,” Pawlowski said.

McCabe had some “medical issues” police said. She was found by her husband, who had been away from the home for a period of time. Pawlowski did not elaborate further but said the husband has been questioned by police. He said there was nothing inside the home to indicate foul play.

“We are doing our due diligence in this investigation but it’s quite possible when test results are completed it will be a natural medical-related death,” he said.
