Waterford man dies after crashing into parked vehicles

Police are investigating the death of a 76-year-old Waterford man who died after striking two parked vehicles at an auto dealership Monday morning.

Howard Moshier was driving his 2016 Chevrolet Equinox westbound on Elizabeth Lake Road at 8:04 a.m. when his vehicle left the roadway, according to police. He then struck two unoccupied vehicles at Lakes Auto Dealer, 3695 Elizabeth Lake.

Waterford Police and Fire departments responded to the scene. Moshier was taken to a hospital by EMS where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators said they believe Moshier suffered a medical condition prior to the crash.

Moshier was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
