$2,500 reward offered in Waterford Twp. robbery
Waterford Township — Police are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a pink-hooded thief wanted in an armed robbery last week at a salon-related business.
The suspect — believed to be a white woman about 5 feet 1 inch tall and 125 pounds — entered a business in the 3000 block of Elizabeth Lake Road about 6:30 p.m. Aug. 9, implied she had a gun and tried to lock an employee in a room.
The employee ran from the register and saw the suspect — wearing a pink-hooded sweatshirt, black bandana, sunglasses, black and white striped gloves and a black skirt — pull an undetermined amount of cash from the drawer before fleeing in a Chrysler PT Cruiser, possibly orange.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at (248) 674-2677.
