A gym employee is charged with multiple felony counts on claims he stole money from customers, Bloomfield Township police said.

Tre-byon Desmond Green, 20, of Pontiac, was arraigned Sunday at 48th District Court in Bloomfield Hills on three felony charges of larceny in a building.

Officers were dispatched to the Life Time Athletic in the 4100 block of Telegraph on Aug. 13 after “several patrons reported they had money stolen from their locker while they were using the gym,” police said in a statement.

Managers there suspected the worker and confronted him when he was leaving for the day, according to the release.

The employee “had several hundred dollars hidden in his backpack,” the notice read.

Green’s bond was set at $10,000.
