A 68-year-old Rochester Hills woman died early Wednesday after she was struck by two vehicles while crossing a Rochester Hills road, officials said.

Young Eun Homrich was hit around 6:15 a.m. on Auburn near Goldfinch, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. She was attempting to cross from north to south when she was hit by two vehicles traveling in the westbound lanes.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

The two vehicles involved were a 2002 Saturn SL2, driven by a 36-year-old Romeo resident, and a 2002 Buick Lesabre, operated by a 44-year-old Brown City resident. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor with either driver, officials said.

The investigation remains ongoing.
