Reward offered in Pontiac hit-and-run

Pontiac — A $1,000 reward is offered for information leading to the person responsible for a hit-and-run accident Friday night that killed a 53-year-old homeless man.

Oakland County Sheriff's deputies are seeking the driver of a older model red SUV which struck Timothy Guy Pressnell as he was attempting to cross the left lane of northbound Telegraph Road near Menominee at 7:10 p.m. Friday. Deputies said Pressnell, who was not using a crosswalk, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:25 p.m.

The suspect vehicle is possibly a red 1998-2001 GMC Jimmy or Oldsmobile Bravada with left front headlight damage.
