Southfield — Police said Wednesday a mystery woman whose welfare was a concern has been located and was apparently never in danger.
Southfield Deputy Chief Nick Loussia said police released a photo of the woman after she was seen escorted out of a Southfield hotel earlier this month by two men, raising concerns about her safety.
Police were called to the Hilton Garden Inn, 26000 American Drive, about 4:30 p.m. Jan. 8 about the unidentified woman, who was involved in an altercation and may have been forced to leave the hotel.
The woman’s mother saw reports and identified her daughter, who was subsequently contacted by police. The woman told lawmen she was fine and knew the two men, Loussia said.
