Troy man arrested for possession of child porn

Troy — Police are seeking the public's help with information about a Troy man charged this week with multiple offenses involving child pornography.

Brandon Donnellon, 37, was arraigned Wednesday in 52-4 District Court in Troy stemming from an investigation that began last summer, Troy police said in a release. He is being held in the Oakland County Jail. Bond was set at $3 million.

Police said investigators searched Donnellon’s residence in July 2016 after receiving tips that he may have been in possession of child pornography.

After a lengthy investigation, which included a search of digital media devices from his home, Donnellon was arrested March 28 and charged with multiple counts of possession of child sexual abusive material and use of a computer to commit offenses.
