The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has released the image of a suspect being sought in connection with an attempted bank robbery Friday in Pontiac.

According to officials, the man walked into the PNC bank on N. Perry near Glenwood at 12:21 p.m. and presented to the teller with a note demanding money.

The teller walked away from the area and the man left the bank with no money, authorities said. The suspect implied he had a gun, but one was not seen.

A still image from the bank’s surveillance footage shows the man wearing a baseball cap and a blue shirt over a gray hoodie.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Lab, the FBI and detectives from the Pontiac substation processed the scene.

A K-9 track for the suspect was conducted, but unsuccessful, officials said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) SPEAK-UP. Callers may remain anonymous.
