Oakland County Sheriff officials are seeking tips from the public to find a group accused of threatening two 12-year-olds in Clarkston.

The children were walking home from Clarkston Junior High near Paramus at about 3 p.m. Friday when four white males in a tan sedan “pointed a black and silver handgun at the students ... and shouted towards them,” investigators said in a statement.

As the students ran home, a mother snapped a photo of the vehicle, according to the release.

Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering up to $1,000 for tips leading to the people inside. Anyone with information is asked to call (800) SPEAK-UP.
