The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is investigating the fatally shooting of a  man found outside a home in Pontiac. 

Deputies and the Waterford Regional Fire Department responded to the 30 block of Starlite Lane on a reported shooting at 3:49 p.m. on Friday. 

 

Upon arrival, deputies found the victim lying on the ground bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. The 29-year-old  man was taken to McLaren Hospital - Oakland where he was pronounced dead. 

Detectives and the sheriff’s forensic science lab found shell casings from a semi-automatic handgun on the scene. Officials said in a release on Saturday,  that a suspect or suspects fired at the victim while he was in front of the house.

Deputies located possible witnesses to the shooting and questioned them at a police substation.
