A Waterford Township man is marveling at his luck after he kept winning lottery money from instant tickets.

Granted, the first two progressive Fast Cash Slots tickets combined would buy dinner. It was the third one he bought last week that made him shriek when he learned the jackpot was worth $325,184.

That's when he "started freaking out," Mark Maltz said Tuesday.

Maltz  bought his winning ticket at a BP gas station at 1516 Union Lake Road in Commerce Township, according to the Michigan Lotto.

“I just kept thinking, ‘I can’t believe I just won!'" he said in a statement.

Maltz, 42, works for a towing company and always stops at BP.

"I was in the store on Friday after filling up my truck and I bought a scratch-off and won $10. I decided I’d buy a Fast Cash ticket, and won $15. Then, I bought a $5 Fast Cash Black Jack ticket and the $10 Jackpot Slots Fast Cash ticket, and the rest is history," Maltz said.

Maltz went to Michigan Lottery headquarters Tuesday in Lansing to claim his prize. He said he plans to invest his winnings.

“I’m going to sit on this for a little while and decide how to best invest it and make it last me a long time,” said Maltz. “I’ve dreamed about winning and thought: ‘Just let me win big one time.’ It’s hard to believe it really happened.”
