The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for two suspects who donned masks as they stole a Ford Focus, medical marijuana, Nike gym shoes and money from a Pontiac woman Monday morning.

Oakland County deputy sheriffs responded to the 700 block of Corwin around 6:45 a.m.  on the report that a 56-year-old woman had been assaulted and robbed.

The victim's son told police that his mother, a medical marijuana caregiver, was attacked and robbed by two men, who drove off in her burgundy 2002 Ford Focus.

The victim said both men carried guns and wore masks, but that one of them lifted his mask briefly and appeared to be in his early 20s. One of the men hit her with the butt of his pistol and demanded money and pills from the woman.

The pair drove off in her car with two of her flat screen TVs, two pairs of Nikes, $250 in cash, a credit card, and medical marijuana plants.

About two hours later, police recovered the stolen vehicle on Stockwell and Clark, where it had been abandoned. Police used a K-9 to try to track the suspects but were not able to locate the men.

Police are investigating.
