A 13-year-old girl was hurt in Pontiac this week when a car hit her as she crossed the street, Oakland County Sheriff’s officials reported.

The Waterford Township girl was not in a crosswalk near Telegraph and Glendale as a 2003 Pontiac Montana headed north about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, investigators said in a statement.

Paramedics transported the teen to McLaren-Oakland Hospital for medical treatment. She was listed in stable condition Wednesday, authorities said.

The Pontiac driver cooperated with investigators on the scene.

Alcohol and drugs did not appear to have been factors in the accident.
