A 23-year-old Ferndale man has been charged after allegedly exposing himself to a woman June 17, officials said.

Nicholas Stocker was formally charged Friday in 43rd District Court with a count of aggravated indecent exposure, a two-year felony.

A judge ordered him held on a $50,000 bond and scheduled his court date for July 2.

Police  arrested Stocker Thursday after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman at a business near the corner of East Nine Mile and Paxton. The incident happened around 5:15 p.m.

The victim told officers she had stopped at the business to see if it was open. When she arrived she saw a man sitting on some rock landscaping near the establishment's front door, according to authorities.

The suspect spoke to the woman, told her he was a Ferndale resident and that his name was Nick.

As the woman was leaving, the man had exposed his genitals and asked "What do you think?"

She immediately left and called police, officials said.

On Monday, police released a description and a sketch of the suspect. He was described as a white male in his 20s, about 6-feet-2-inches, thinly built with thick dark hair. He was wearing a blue bandanna around his forehead, John Lennon-style glasses and a black SpongeBob SquarePants T-shirt with a Krabby Patty on it.
