Detroit police are investigating an early Tuesday armed robbery of a 24-hour restaurant on Michigan Ave, dining and then dashing with some of the restaurant's till.

Just after 4 a.m., two suspects entered Adi Coney Island, on the 6100 block of Michigan Avenue, said Detroit police spokesman Dontae Freeman. The restaurant is located just east of Livernois on Michigan Avenue.

They ordered, ate, hung out for a bit, then pointed a gun at a 24-year-old man working the counter, forcing him to hand them money from the cash register.

One suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 35, 6 feet tall, dark skin, short hair, clean shaven, with light pants and a black hoodie. He was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 21, wearing a red hoodie, a mask, and blue jeans.

The suspects were last seen getting into a black Dodge Caravan.
