Drivers revving their engines for the Woodward Dream Cruise this weekend can expect sunny skies overhead.

All heading to the 13-mile stretch of Woodward Avenue can expect sunshine without any chance of rain, said Trent Frey, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in White Lake Township.

"It's looking completely dry and almost no chance of precipitation until Tuesday in Metro Detroit," he said.

Saturday's mid-day attendees can expect partly sunny skies with a high of 84 degrees and a low of 64 degrees after 10 p.m.

Sunday will have more sunshine with a high of 83 degrees and low of 66 degrees overnight.

It will be humid, but not much, he said.

"Saturday and Sunday we'll see near 60 percent humidity and normally, anything over 60 is uncomfortable," Frey said. "This week we saw high humidity in the upper 60s-low 70s. So, it's not as humid as it has been in the last few days, but it will be a bit muggy."
