Two staffers with the Oakland County Road Commission were injured Wednesday morning in Farmington Hills after their truck flipped after being struck from behind by a vehicle.

The crash took place about 8:11 a.m. on M-5 at Drake, said Craig Bryson, spokesman for the Road Commission of Oakland County. The workers were setting up to do forestry work in the area when their truck was hit.

The truck flipped with two workers inside. The injured workers have been transported to an area hospital. Their conditions were not immediately available, but do not appear to be life-threatening, Bryson said.

Farmington Hills police said that the driver of the other vehicle did stop after the crash. No specifics were yet available as to what type of vehicle that was. Police do not believe that driver suffered any injuries.
