Nestled on almost 2 acres in Bloomfield Hills' gated Turtle Lake community is an Italian-style villa awaiting its new owner.

It comes with a price tag made for its exclusive venue: $10.55 million.

The main entry way.

The three-story, 10,108 square foot spread on Turtle Bluff Drive includes six bedrooms and 10 baths, and features amenities including a pool and spa in the center of the home.

“When they started doing the renovations, (the owner) kept going back to the drawing board over and over," said Sheel Sohal, a real estate agent with Michigan Luxury Homes-KW Domain. "The owner wanted to create an experience when you walk through the property. He actually extended it to two lots.”

When factoring in the pool area at the center, the home,  built in 2003, really is more than 15,000 square feet.

The dining room.

Other features include ceiling frescoes, a custom two-story library, multiple terraces and lounges, gardens, massive art pieces collected from around the world and an eight-car garage with its own car wash.

The ceilings have real gold foil, the walls have fabric and upholstery on the walls, and there are three outdoor fireplaces.

It is, said Sohal, a property "like no other."
