Westbound I-696 lanes reopen after 'serious crash'

The westbound lanes of Interstate 696 have reopened nearly two hours after a "serious crash" closed the lanes Tuesday morning in Oakland County, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced.
The closure was reported early in the 10 a.m. hour, but specific details regarding the crash were not immediately available.
