Wixom police seek help finding stolen saw mill

Wixom — A rare saw mill worth $40,000 was stolen in Wixom, and the city's police department is asking for help finding it.

According to a news release issued Thursday, a TimberKing saw mill with identification number 1602 was stolen from the area of Beck Road, north of Interstate 96. It is only one of 19 known saw mills of that type in Michigan, the department said.

The owner of this saw mill stolen in Wixom is offering a $5,000 reward for its return.

The saw mill has an attached Dirty Hands 22-ton log splitter, valued at $1,000, police said. The owner is offering a $5,000 reward.
