Oakland Co. deputies seek man who shot another in face with BB gun

Lyon Township — Oakland County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who allegedly shot another man in the face with a BB gun Saturday, officials said.

Deputies were called at about 7:21 p.m. to a residence on Boyne inside the Kensington Mobile Home Park in Lyon Township to respond to a report of a felonious assault, they said.

A woman who called 911 told deputies her boyfriend, 30, of Lyon Township had gotten into a fight with a neighbor, 27. During the fight, the neighbor shot her boyfriend in the face and in the chest with a BB gun, according to authorities. One of the BBs lodged in the victim's nose.

The assailant then fled the scene before deputies arrived, police said.

Paramedics treated the victim at the scene. Deputies unsuccessfully searched for the neighbor and continue to investigate.
