Oakland Co. deputies, Troy police seek suspected prowler

Oakland County Sheriff's deputies are asking the public for help finding a man who has been peeking into the windows of homes in Rochester Hills and Troy.

The suspect is described as a male, about 20-years-old, with short hair, a thin a build and a goatee.

Authorities seek this man who has been caught looking into the windows and glass sliding doors of homes in Rochester Hills and Troy.

Sheriff Michael Bouchard said investigators believe the suspect is connected to incidents going back to March. In some cases, doorbell and security cameras have captured footage of the suspect.

He said there are five confirmed reports of the suspect in Rochester Hills and one in Troy.

“It appears this individual may be escalating his behavior with the home invasion in the City of Troy,” Bouchard said in a statement. “We want this guy off the streets as soon as possible.”

Troy Police Chief Frank Nastasi said his department is also looking for the suspect.

“Troy Police Detectives have been vigorously pursuing all leads in the home invasion which occurred in Troy, and we are eager to get this suspect off the streets,” he said. “We are asking all residents to report any information related to this case.”
