Westland — An argument that escalated into shots fired culminated in the apparent suicide of an unidentified woman Wednesday night.

According to the Westland Police Department, officers were called to the London Town Houses development, in the 29000 block of Manchester, after receiving reports of shots being fired.

Police learned that a woman living in the townhouse had been confronted by her boyfriend’s soon to be ex-wife. The married woman fired several shots at the girlfriend who was able to escape without injury.
