Motorcyclist dies after crashing into turning car on Detroit’s west side

A 22-year-old motorcyclist died Monday after crashing into a car on the city’s west side.

The man was traveling west on Seven Mile near Greenview about 5:30 p.m. when he struck the back of a vehicle turning into a gas station, Detroit police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car, 46, was not injured, police said.

Additional details weren’t released Monday night. The Detroit Police Department’s Fatal Squad is investigating.
