Detroit — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 17-year-old boy who went missing more than a month ago from a youth home.

Tyress Taylor was last seen around 7 p.m. Aug. 11 after he ran away with four others from the Wolverine Youth Facility in the 2600 block of Lenox. The other teens returned to the facility, but Tyress did not, police said.

Family has not been in contact with Tyress since he went missing, police said.

Tyress is described as a black male, 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds. He has a dark complexion and black hair. He is in good physical and mental condition, police said.
