Wyandotte — Police are looking for a man who allegedly attacked and raped a woman behind a grocery store Tuesday night.

According to police, the attack occurred around 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Save-A-Lot on Fort south of Eureka Rd.

The 25-year-old victim said she was locked out of her apartment when she walked into the alley behind the grocery store. There, she said she encountered the suspect who hit her in the face a few times before raping her, according to police.

The suspect is described as 6 feet with short, light-colored hair. He was wearing a yellow shirt.

A K-9 unit was unable to locate a suspect. Police continue to investigate.
