Man to be arraigned in death of Westland mother
A man connected with the strangulation death of a Westland mother of four, is schedule to be arraigned at 34th District Court in Romulus Sunday at 11 a.m.
Jaime Allen Pearson, 38, of Westland, has been charged in connection with the homicide of his girlfriend, 30-year-old Rachel Watson.
Investigation by the police led to the arrest of Pearson. It is alleged that he strangled her to death.
On Wednesday police were called to Watson’s home in the 34800 block of Avondale to do a wellness check on Watson after coworkers became concerned when she did not show up for work.
Police found Watson’s lifeless body inside the home.
Watson was a single mother and had been a nurse for six years, most recently at Heartland Health Care Center in Ann Arbor.
