Detroit — Police are investigating two homicides that occurred in the city early Monday morning.

According to reports, a 34-year-old man was shot to death after getting into a dispute at the Express Liquor store at about 12:45 a.m. The store is located in the 10400 block of Plymouth, in an area south of Grand River and east of Meyers Road.

Police have no description of the shooter who fled the scene immediately after the incident.

At about 2:45 a.m., police discovered the body of a 20-year-old man in the 16100 block of Harlow, located in an area west of the Southfield Freeway and just north of Puritan.

“It appears the victim was in the back of the house and came running outside where he was shot,” said Officer Adam Madera.

“Two men dressed in black fled the area in a vehicle. That’s all we have at this point.”

Anyone with information about the two shootings is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at (313) 596-2200.
