Detroit man found in building
Detroit — A 28-year-old man who is autistic, bipolar and schizophrenic and had been missing since Friday has been found safe.
Antonio Jackson of Detroit was discovered by police Saturday in an abandoned building and then taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital, said his mother, Constance Jackson.
His mother, family and friends spent Saturday handing out and posting flyers with his photo at several locations, including hospitals such as Detroit Receiving. A nurse, who had seen the flier, recognized Jackson once he was admitted.
Jackson, who also has diabetes, remains in the hospital where doctors are getting him back on his medications, said his mother.
