Cop accused of carrying firearm while drunk arraigned
Detroit — A police officer has been arraigned on charges of possession of a firearm while under the influence.
Deloma Stone, 38, was arrested at about 8:30 p.m. Monday at a bar located in the 1800 block of East Eight Mile. Police responded to that location after receiving a report that Stone was intoxicated while carrying her department-issued weapon.
Possession of a firearm while under the influence is a misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of 93 days in jail.
Stone was arraigned Thursday in 36th District Court and was released on a $100 bond. She has a pretrial exam at 9 a.m. on April 14.
