Salvation Army employee shot, injured in parking lot

Redford Township — A Salvation Army employee was wounded Monday afternoon when he was shot in the leg in a store parking lot.

The incident happened around 1:20 p.m. at the Salvation Army store on Grand River at Poinciana, said Officer Edward French of the Redford Township Police.

Police are looking for the shooting suspect, a male with braids who fled the scene in a silver or gray vehicle.
