2 men arraigned in fatal shooting in Inkster

Two Inkster men have been arraigned in connection with the shooting death of a man whose body was found in the street in the early morning hours of May 13.

On Friday morning, Lucky Steven Hurst, 26, was arraigned in 22nd District Court on felony firearms and felon in possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $20,000.

A second suspect, Eric Anthony Stephens, 25, was also arraigned on assault with intent to commit murder and felony firearms. His bond was set at $50,000.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police were called to the 4100 block of Moore street where they found the body of 21-year-old Jalen Muhammad who had been shot several times.

Both suspects remain in custody at the Wayne County Jail.
