D.C. snow cancels Metro Airport flights

Romulus — Dozens of flights from Detroit to cities along the East Coast were canceled Friday as storms hit the Northeast, records available via FlightStats.com show.

Among the destinations with canceled flights are Washington, D.C., New York, Baltimore and Philadelphia.

Numerous flights to Reagan National and Washington Dulles airports were canceled as of Friday evening. Same deal with LaGuardia Airport in New York and Baltimore-Washington International Airport in Baltimore. The cancellations started at 12:30 p.m. and extend through Friday evening.
