A second man suspected in the kidnapping and rape of a woman in Lincoln Park has turned himself in, police said Wednesday.

Fernando Anderson IV, 19, walked into the Lincoln Park Police Department around 5 p.m., police said. He is the alleged accomplice of a man who turned himself into police Monday night.

The two are accused of pulling a handgun on a woman March 30 as she was parked at a drug store. Police said the men then drove around in the woman’s vehicle while taking turns raping her.

Police said the men stopped their attack because Anderson’s tether required him to be home by 10 p.m.

Police said they have a sent warrant requests to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office and a response could come as early as Thursday.
