Man sought in robbery of Plymouth Township bank

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man suspected of robbing a Plymouth Township bank.

According to Crime Stoppers of Michigan, the man entered the PNC branch at 39475 Ann Arbor Road at about 10:55 a.m. Wednesday. He handed the teller a note demanding money and then fled the bank.

A witness said the man got into a 2000s-era burgundy Oldsmobile Alero with a spoiler on the trunk and factory chrome wheels, Crime Stoppers said in a news release.

The man is described as 25-30 years old, about 6 feet tall and a medium build. He was wearing a long-sleeved gray pullover shirt, dark pants, a red baseball-style hat with Chiefs on the front and white-framed sunglasses with rhinestones in the frame.
