Taylor police try to identify woman killed by car

Taylor Police are still trying to identify a woman who was struck by a car Friday night.

The victim, who is white and about 50 to 60 years old, was hit at Eureka Road and Westlake Street where she was later taken to a hospital and pronounced dead, police said in a statement Saturday.

The driver, who is also identified, was determined to not be at fault but is being held for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

Police described the woman has having brown hair, about 5’5” and weighing 130 pounds with a dragon or tiger tattoo on her right thigh in black ink.
