Police are searching for at least one gunman after two teens were shot late Sunday during a large fight near an apartment complex in Hamtramck.

The 11:06 p.m. shooting happened in the 12000 block of Grand Haven Street, between Carpenter Avenue and Caniff Street.

Officers found a 13-year-old boy was shot in the buttocks and a 14-year-old boy was shot in the right ankle, Hamtramck Police Detective John Aiello said in a statement Monday.

The teens were taken to Children’s Hospital of Michigan and are expected to undergo surgery for non life-threatening injuries.
