A Lincoln Park man who died after being pinned between two vehicles at a Dearborn auto dealership on Tuesday morning has been identified.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Jeffrey Wallace, 52, as the man who died from injuries to the chest and mechanical asphyxia. His death has been ruled an accident.

The man was moving new vehicles early in the morning, which was part of his job at the Fairlane Ford dealership on Michigan Avenue, officials said.

According to police, a vehicle he was driving hit an unoccupied vehicle parked in the lot. Not long after, police said, co-workers found Wallace pinned between the vehicle he had been driving and the parked vehicle.
