The incident happened Oct. 7 at the Dollar General Store at 1615 S. Merriman, police said.

According to officials, the suspect, believed to be in his late 30s, left the store without paying for his cart load of merchandise.

The man is described as being 5-foot-9, 150 pounds with black hair and long sideburns. He was wearing a blue baseball hat, a T-shirt with a Superman logo and blue shorts at the time of the incident, police said.
