Suspect sought in robbery at Family Dollar in Westland

Westland Police are trying to identify a man they say robbed a Family Dollar on Wayne Road a week ago.
Police say a suspect, described as a 40-year-old man, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, with a mustache, demanded money from a cashier Nov. 27 at the Family Dollar at 1963 South Wayne Road.
According to police, the man presented a note to the cashier and implied he had a weapon. The cashier gave the man just over $200. There were no injuries.
The man was wearing a black coat, tan pants and a white hat at the time of the robbery.
