ATF, MSP raid home in Romulus, arrest suspect
A suspect was arrested early Friday in a raid conducted by federal and state law enforcement in Romulus, according to officials.
The raid happened around 6 a.m. near Eureka and Middlebelt, said Ronnie Dahl, public information officer for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
"All we can say is ATF agents executed a search warrant this morning at a home in Romulus," Dahl said. "The search warrant is sealed so I can't release details. One suspect was taken into custody."
Michigan State Police assisted in the raid, according to their spokesman Lt. Mike Shaw.
Dahl and Shaw each declined to comment further. It was not immediately clear if anything was seized from the home or what charges the suspect may face.
