Lincoln Park police seeks armed murder suspect

The Lincoln Park Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an Inkster man wanted for a killing Saturday in Lincoln Park.

Lloyd Nathaniel Ray, 24, is considered armed and dangerous, according to police.

Ray is accused of shooting two men around 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Garfield in Lincoln Park. Two men were seen running from the home.

The two victims were taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital, where one was pronounced dead on arrival, police said. The other man underwent surgery and is expected to recover.

Lincoln Park detectives said Monday afternoon they are working to obtain an arrest warrant for Ray.

Ray is described as six-foot-one and 180 pounds. He has shoulder-length dreadlocks.
