An 18-year-old Livonia woman has been acquitted of all charges in the nonfatal shooting of her boyfriend last summer.

Ann Zarras was found not guilty after a six-day trial before Judge Wanda Evans of Wayne County Circuit Court, the prosecutor’s office said Tuesday.

Zarras had been charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, felonious assault and felony firearm.

Nathan Robertson, 18, was shot in the head June 28 at the Livonia home he shared with Zarras, according to police.

At the time, police said Zarras and Robertson had been arguing about their relationship when the shooting occurred. Robertson was hospitalized in critical condition.
