Dearborn police have released surveillance images of suspects they link to a break-in and theft last week at a jewelry store.

Officers called to the business near Ford and Schaefer on a report of a burglary at about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday found the front door glass shattered, investigators said in a statement.

Through video footage, authorities learned the two suspects crashed a truck into the entrance then allegedly stole numerous pieces of jewelry inside, according to the release.

The pair later abandoned the pickup in the alley and fled on a motorcycle.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Dearborn Police Department at (313) 943-2241. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Michigan, which is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest, at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
