Wayne Police seek sexual assault suspect

Wayne Police are asking the public for help to find a man who sexually assaulted a woman last week.

Officials said the incident happened at about 7 p.m. Thursday in the area of Merriman Road and Michigan Avenue.

Police said the man entered the woman's home and sexually and physically assaulted her. The suspect then fled the home on foot, they said.

Investigators released a sketch of the suspect, who is described as an African-American male, 18-20 years-old, 6-foot-2-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with short, curly hair.
