Dearborn police seek suspect in paintball shooting
Dearborn Police continue to search for a man who shot a fast-food restaurant worker through a drive-thru with a paintball gun.
Officials said the incident happened at about 1 a.m. Monday at a McDonald's restaurant on 25431 Michigan Ave.
The victim told officers a man attempted to place an order, but the product was unavailable, police said.
The man ordered something else and pulled around to the drive-thru window, according to officials.
When she opened the window, the man shot her in the face with a paintball gun, police said.
The suspect then fled southbound on Gulley Street, authorities said.
Officials said the victim described the suspect as a light-skinned black male, about 30 years-old. He was driving a dark-colored four-door vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for her wound, police said.
